Wraparound Care

At Howden le Wear Primary School we offer both a Breakfast Club and an After School Childcare Club which children are able to access.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club operates daily during term times and runs from 7.45am until the start of the school day at 8.45am. All children in nursery and school can attend with the cost being set at £3.50 per pupil, per day. During Breakfast Club children receive a wide range of hot and cold healthy breakfast foods with the occasional treat available too! Coupled with this, we operate a range of activities to engage and occupy children before the start of the school day.

After School Childcare

Howden-le-Wear Primary School offers a childcare facility in school from 3.15pm until 5pm on a Monday, to Thursday £8 per session and 3.15pm until 4.30pm on a Friday costing £6 per session. Each session offers a range of activities, children are provided with food and refreshments. If you wish to take advantage of our after school childcare, please see contact the school office.
